  • GENERAL ASPECTS

    The terms and conditions set out below, as well as all other rules practiced by Fratelli Piccini and made available as indicated – all together “Conditions of Sale” – will be applied to the total sales of jewelery and watches that you (also the ” Customer”) you will order from Fratelli Piccini SpA, Ponte Vecchio, 21/23 r, Florence (FI), Italy, also “Fratelli Piccini”, “we” or “ours”, either by telephone by calling the company headquarters, whose telephone number is present on the website, or via the internet by accessing the Fratelli Piccini website.

    These Conditions of Sale are valid exclusively for purchases made via telephone or via the website. Fratelli Piccini is free to modify these Conditions of Sale at its sole discretion.
    The Conditions of Sale that apply to orders placed are those in force at the time of the order to a Fratelli Piccini manager if the order is placed by telephone, or at the time of forwarding the order if it is placed via the website.
    When the order is placed through the website, by checking the “I accept” or similar box during the order confirmation procedure, you confirm that you have understood and accept these Conditions of Sale in their entirety. Otherwise, no item can be ordered via telephone or via the website.
    In the case of orders placed via telephone or via the website, Fratelli Piccini will consider that the Customer has accepted to be obliged to respect our Conditions of use of the website and our Privacy Policy, which are annexed to these Conditions of Sale . Customers who place their order via telephone will have access to our Privacy Policy as reported in “Order Acceptance”.

     

  • WHO CAN MAKE PURCHASES of JEWELRY and WATCHES

    Orders via telephone or via the Fratelli Piccini website can be placed exclusively by:

    Those who have reached the age of majority
    Those who have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
    Those who have a delivery address among the countries listed in Article 13 (for further details we invite you to consult the following “Payment and Shipping” sections).
    If a minor, or someone who by law is not able to enter into a contract, wishes to place an order, this must be done by a parent or legal guardian in order to understand and accept these Conditions of Sale. Any order placed in violation of this provision will be considered void.
    By placing an order via telephone or via the website, the Customer declares and guarantees that he is a bona fide end customer who will not supply, sell or distribute jewelery and watches sold by Fratelli Piccini, nor will he purchase jewelery and watches for commercial purposes or to profit from however any other commercial advantage.
    If, despite our efforts, an item is no longer available or if Fratelli Piccini believes, for legitimate reasons, that an order violates these Conditions of Sale, Fratelli Piccini may refuse the order.

     

     

  • AVAILABILITY OF JEWELRY and WATCHES: QUANTITY

    All orders placed via telephone or via the website are subject to availability and acceptance by Fratelli Piccini.
    Fratelli Piccini reserves the right to change the range of jewelery and watches offered on the website or via telephone and may limit the quantity of jewelery and watches that the Customer can order for each purchasing session. Orders cannot contain more than six (6) items for each single purchasing session made via telephone or via the website.
    The Fratelli Piccini manager (for orders via telephone) and the web pages relating to jewelery and watches on the website provide all the information relating to jewelery and watches currently on sale through these channels. Please note: only jewelery and watches with the “Add to Cart” action button are available for sale via the website. However, it is always possible to contact the Fratelli Piccini staff by telephone (telephone number on the website) and a Fratelli Piccini manager will be happy to provide you with further information on the availability of the jewels and watches, as well as assist you during the purchase procedure.

     

 

  • ACCOUNT CREATION – PERSONAL INFORMATION

    In order to place an order via telephone or through the website, the Customer or the Fratelli Piccini manager (on behalf of the Customer) must create an internet account. To register and create an account you must provide valid and up-to-date personal information. Among these: name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, residence address, postal code, city of residence, Province (or State), tax code, country, as well as confirming that you have reached the age of majority in accordance with the provisions of the Legislation of the country of the person registering.

    Once the creation of the internet account has been completed, the Customer will receive an email containing the access parameters, which will allow access to their account on the website. The Customer will be responsible for the confidentiality and security of the password and access data to his/her account. Fratelli Piccini is in no way responsible for any abuse of the Customer’s account that is carried out by third parties using the account access data.
    Fratelli Piccini however reserves the right, at any time, to modify the information necessary to place a new order or to create an internet account. Any changes will be indicated on the website. We invite you to consult our Privacy Policy and Clause 8 of these Conditions of Sale for further and more in-depth details on how Fratelli Piccini uses the personal information you provide. The data controller is obliged to adopt appropriate security measures to minimize the risks of destruction, loss, unauthorized access or processing of personal data that is not permitted or does not comply with the purposes of the collection (Article 31 of the Code).
    In particular, the owner must adopt the minimum security measures (Article 33 of the Code and Annex B to the Code) aimed at ensuring a minimum level of protection of personal data.
    If the information provided via telephone or via the website were to change, the Customer must log into their account and update the information directly on the website or communicate it via telephone to the Fratelli Piccini manager (telephone number on the website) as provided in our Privacy Policy.
    Furthermore, in cases where Fratelli Piccini reasonably believes that third parties have violated a Customer’s account, Fratelli Piccini will immediately close and delete such account by informing the Customer via email or telephone.

     

  • ORDERS

    In the case of orders placed via the website, the procedure to follow is as follows: choose the desired jewel or watch and add it to the cart. It will then be possible to order other jewels and/or watches by adding them to the cart (if available and within the limits of the maximum quantity foreseen). Once finished, you need to click on the “Proceed to Order” button. It will also be possible to change the quantities of products ordered and/or remove one or more items in the cart.
    In the case of telephone orders (telephone number on the website), a Fratelli Piccini manager will follow the order procedure on behalf of the Customer. In the case of orders placed via the website or by telephone, the Customer will be asked to provide further personal information, such as: delivery address and billing address (if different from those indicated during registration), chosen payment method.
    The Customer ensures that the personal information provided to Fratelli Piccini is true, correct and updated. For security reasons and in order to prevent any fraud, Fratelli Piccini, or its external suppliers, may collect further information. We invite you to consult our Privacy Policy for more information on how Fratelli Piccini uses – and for how long it retains – the personal information you provide.

 

 

  • PRICES – TAXES – SHIPPING COSTS

    All prices indicated on the jewelery and watch pages on the website are inclusive of VAT but net of shipping costs and any taxes, unless otherwise specified.
    Fratelli Piccini always reserves the right to modify, at any time and without notice, the prices of the items and the shipping prices. The price of an item and the shipping prices present on the website or communicated by the Fratelli Piccini manager via telephone at the time of order confirmation will be honored by Fratelli Piccini.
    Descriptions and information regarding the weight of precious materials and the quantity of precious stones (which may be expressed in number or carats) are provided for information purposes only and may vary slightly.
    As regards jewellery, this information is provided taking ring size 54 as a reference. Shipping costs are not indicated on the item pages but will be added to the price of the items ordered, once the Customer has selected the desired delivery option from those available.
    Shipping costs and VAT will be indicated on the order summary page, i.e. the last page before submitting the order (in the case of an order placed via the website), or will be communicated by the Fratelli Piccini manager (in the case of an order placed via telephone) and will also appear in the order confirmation email and on the invoice (if requested). Shipping costs, if any, are described in the shipping policies below.

     

  • VERIFICATION and CONFIRMATION by the CUSTOMER

    The Customer is required to carefully check all the details before submitting the order, including, without limitation, the details of each purchase which will be provided by the Fratelli Piccini manager (in the case of orders placed via telephone) or by the website (in case of orders placed via the website).
    Once the order has been checked, the Customer must tick the “I have read and accept the conditions of sale” box and then click on “Order Now” to submit the order. By placing the order, the Customer suggests that Fratelli Piccini purchase the jewels and/or watches that the Customer has placed in the “Shopping Cart”. Fratelli Piccini however reserves the right to refuse, delete and cancel orders received, at any time, for legitimate reasons. By way of example but not limited to, Fratelli Piccini may refuse, delete or cancel an order received if there is an ongoing dispute relating to the payment of an order previously placed by the same Customer, or if Fratelli Piccini believes that the Customer has violated these Conditions of sales.

     

  • PAYMENTS

    8.1. Payments by credit, debit or Postepay card
    Payments can be made by credit or debit card, following the instructions on the website or by contacting the Fratelli Piccini manager.
    When placing an order via the website, the Customer must click on the “Paypal – Postepay – Credit Cards” button to access the payment page external to the Fratelli Piccini website. The Customer will then be able to proceed with the payment of the amount due either using their Paypal account or via credit, debit and Postepay cards without having to register on the Paypal website.
    In the case of orders placed via telephone, the Customer must communicate to the Fratelli Piccini manager the credit or debit card number, the name and surname on the credit card, the expiry date and the security code, three or four digit, present on the front or back of the credit card (CCV2/CVC2/CID). The telephone conversation may be recorded for reasons of security and control of the quality level of the service, although some information relating to your credit card will not be recorded by the Fratelli Piccini manager or will be encrypted and used exclusively for credit card transactions. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details on how Fratelli Piccini uses, and for how long, personal information and telephone conversation recordings.
    Credit and/or debit card holders are subject to validation and authorization checks by the Company that issued the card. In cases where the Company that issued the credit and/or debit card refuses to authorize the payment due to Fratelli Piccini, the Customer will be responsible for contacting this Company to resolve the problem. In this case Fratelli Piccini will not be in any way responsible for any delay or failure in delivery.
    To manage orders, Fratelli Piccini can pre-authorize the credit and/or debit card used by the Customer for payment. In this case, the total amount relating to your purchase will be blocked on the credit and/or debit card until the items are shipped to the delivery address provided to Fratelli Piccini. Order confirmation will then be sent and the total amount to be paid will be charged to your credit and/or debit card. By purchasing jewelery and watches via the website or via telephone, the Customer expressly authorizes Fratelli Piccini to carry out the pre-authorisation and, at Fratelli Piccini’s discretion, to communicate to third parties or ask third parties for information relating to the Customer , including and without limitation, your credit and/or debit card number, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit and/or debit card, to obtain an initial authorization and to authorize individual purchase transactions. We invite you to consult our Privacy Policy for more information on how Fratelli Piccini uses, and for how long it retains, your personal information.
    Pursuant to this contract, services relating to payment procedures for items purchased on this website by credit and/or debit card are provided by Fratelli Piccini SpA, Ponte Vecchio 21/23 r, 50125, Florence, Italy.
    8.2. Payment by bank transfer
    Orders placed via telephone or via the website can be paid by bank transfer. In this case, the Customer is required to always report the order number as the reason for the bank transfer.
    Once the order has been completed and bank transfer has been selected as the payment method, Fratelli Piccini will wait to receive the payment before proceeding with processing the order. If the amount to be paid is not credited to Fratelli Piccini’s current account within ten (10) working days of placing the order, the order will be automatically cancelled.
    Fratelli Piccini will not charge any commission for payments made by bank transfer. Please note that some banks or credit institutions charge commissions for making bank transfers.
    8.3 Payments via Paypal
    The Customer can also pay via the PayPal service, as reported on the website.
    8.4 Security
    Fratelli Piccini takes precautions, including administrative, technical and physical measures, to protect personal information against loss, theft, abuse and against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. For this purpose, Fratelli Piccini uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption system for all web pages where you are asked to enter personal information.

Fratelli Piccini undertakes to protect the Customer’s personal information for the entire duration of the online sales procedure. The Customer is reminded that it is not possible to guarantee the security and integrity of the information transmitted to the website and therefore Fratelli Piccini cannot be held responsible for damages or losses deriving from the use of the Internet, as in the case of hacking (intrusion illicit in computer systems). To make transactions as safe as possible and prevent any fraud, Fratelli Piccini will carry out a check on your credit and/or debit card, as well as an anti-fraud check. By placing an order, the Customer therefore authorizes Fratelli Piccini to carry out such checks and, where Fratelli Piccini deems it appropriate or necessary, to communicate or obtain personal information that the Customer has provided to Fratelli Piccini for the sole purpose of verifying your identity, to validate your credit and/or debit card, to obtain credit and/or debit card pre-authorization and to authorize a particular purchase transaction.

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF ORDER
Once the order has been placed via telephone or via the website, the Customer will receive a notice of receipt of the order via e-mail with the order details. The acknowledgment of receipt will include a unique reference number, associated with the order, attributed by Fratelli Piccini. The Customer is required to carefully read the Conditions of Sale and to keep the unique reference number associated with the order for any communications and investigations on the same.
The email notifying you of receipt of the order does not in any way constitute acceptance of the order submitted. In fact, following the sending of the notice in question, Fratelli Piccini will carry out the normal security checks to subsequently proceed with the management of the order received.

ORDER CONFIRMATION from FRATELLI PICCINI
As soon as the security checks have been carried out, Fratelli Piccini will send an order confirmation email and then proceed with the shipment of the items that the Customer has ordered. Fratelli Piccini will be responsible for keeping the information relating to each order, without exception, as required by the law in force. The Customer can access this information at any time by entering their internet account or by contacting the Fratelli Piccini managers via telephone.

ORDER and ORDER CONFIRMATION
The order confirmation sent via email is considered received when it arrives in the Customer’s email inbox, regardless of whether it is read by the Customer via computer and mobile devices (notebook, netbook, tablet, smartphone, etc.). The order confirmation and all automatic registration systems used by the Fratelli Piccini manager or by the e-commerce platform will be indisputable proof of a binding agreement between the Customer and Fratelli Piccini.

 

 

  • FREE SERVICES

    Fratelli Piccini is pleased to make the following additional services available to its Customers, free of charge:

    11.1. Gift box, packaging with Fratelli Piccini logo
    Fratelli Piccini gift boxes are elegant and feature the Fratelli Piccini logo. The Fratelli Piccini packages, made by the well-known craftsman Floriani of Bologna, are to be considered a precious object. Therefore, if the Customer or the gift recipient decides to return the ordered item, it must be returned in the gift box.
    11.2. Personalized items
    Fratelli Piccini allows the Customer to personalize some items with certain engravings. For further information, please consult the website or contact the Fratelli Piccini managers.
    Personalized items cannot be returned to Fratelli Piccini if the Customer wishes to exchange the item or receive a refund. This, however, in no way affects the consumer’s rights for faulty items, as set out below.
    11.3. Watch strap adjustment
    It is possible to adjust the strap on some watches. If it is necessary to adjust the strap of the watch ordered, the excess links will be removed and inserted inside the package. Should the Customer decide to return the item to Fratelli Piccini, these must be returned together with the item itself.
    11.4. Gift card
    Fratelli Piccini allows the Customer to include a personalized gift card inside the order packaging.
    Fratelli Piccini reserves the right not to accept an order for personalized items and/or items accompanied by a gift card containing questionable or illegal language.

  •  SHIPPING POLICIES

    Fratelli Piccini only accepts orders for delivery to addresses located within the borders of the following countries: Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Vatican City, South Korea, Croatia, Denmark, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Norway, New Zealand, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Monaco, Qatar, Czech Republic, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, United States, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, Hungary. Fratelli Piccini does not ship to some addresses such as, for example, post office boxes. For further information, we invite you to consult the website or contact the Fratelli Piccini managers.
    Shipping costs and estimated shipping times are indicated on the website or communicated by the Fratelli Piccini manager before placing the order and summarized in the order receipt e-mail. For further information please consult the website or contact the Fratelli Piccini managers.
    Once the order has been completed and is ready for shipping, Fratelli Piccini sends the order confirmation via email.
    Fratelli Piccini will do everything possible to ensure that the delivery of the ordered items is carried out within the expected delivery times, as shown on the website or communicated by the Fratelli Piccini manager.
    Each delivered package will contain, in addition to the purchased item: (a) the accessories if present, (b) a thank you note signed by a member of the Piccini family, the document envelope which includes the item’s User Manual, if present , the Certificate of Authenticity and the International Guarantee, if applicable; (c) a paper card with your message, if requested; (d) instructions for returning the purchased item.
    All purchases made by the Customer, both on the website and by telephone, are covered by insurance from the moment they leave the Fratelli Piccini headquarters until delivery to the Customer. In order for the Customer to collect his order, the signature of a person who has reached the age of majority according to the State in which the order must be delivered is required in order to confirm the delivery of each item purchased. From that moment on, responsibility for the items ordered and received passes to the Customer.

 

 

  • SHIPPING POLICIES

    During the procedure for ordering items, both via the website and by telephone, the Customer can request to receive a regular invoice which will be sent to you via e-mail. Fratelli Piccini will not send an invoice and payment details to the recipient of a gift.

     

     

  • CUSTOMER’S RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

    In cases where the Customer resides in a country that is part of the European Union, he has the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without any reason. The fourteen (14) days start from the day on which the Customer, or another person on behalf of the Customer, takes possession of the ordered items.
    To exercise the right of withdrawal, simply contact the Fratelli Piccini managers (telephone number and e-mail address on the website) in order to obtain the Return Authorization Code, which will be confirmed in writing via e-mail. . Alternatively, you can communicate (Fratelli Piccini SpA, Customer Service, Ponte Vecchio, 21/23 r, 50125 – Florence – FI – Italy) your decision to withdraw from the contract with a unequivocal declaration (for example: by letter or e- email).
    In cases where the Customer withdraws from the contract, Fratelli Piccini will refund the payments made, excluding shipping costs, promptly and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which it receives the returned items.
    The refund of payments made will be processed using the same payment methods used by the Customer for the initial transaction. Any costs for making the refund will be borne by Fratelli Piccini.
    The Customer is required to return the items promptly and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which he communicates to Fratelli Piccini his wish to withdraw from the contract. This deadline will be considered respected if the Customer returns the items to Fratelli Piccini no later than the expiry of fourteen (14) days. The Customer undertakes to bear the costs of returning the items and to follow the instructions below for their return.
    The Customer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the items in the event of wear and tear due to use that goes beyond normal quality control and functional tests carried out on the items. “Quality Control and Functional Testing” should be understood as the usual checks carried out on items in a retail store. Therefore, if the items (or part of them) are damaged, Fratelli Piccini will deduct the cost necessary for their repair or replacement from the refund granted.

     

  • DEADLINE for the RETURN of a GIFT by a RECIPIENT

    In order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction, Fratelli Piccini offers the Recipient of the Gift the same return terms, provided that these Conditions of Sale are fully respected.
    If one or more items returned by a Gift Recipient do not meet the quality control requirements, or the Gift Recipient violates these Conditions of Sale in any other way, Fratelli Piccini will refuse the return and resend the item /the items to the Gift Recipient.
    Fratelli Piccini will make the refund granted to only one Customer. The Recipient of a Gift will not have any right, under any circumstances, to refunds, but may request an exchange of item as indicated below.

 

  • RETURN PROCEDURE

    17.1. Return procedure
    Items purchased via the website or by telephone can be returned to the following address: Fratelli Piccini, Customer Service, Ponte Vecchio, 21/23 r, 50125, Florence, FI, Italy. For the sole purpose of simplifying the return procedure, the Customer is advised to follow the instructions below:

    contact the Fratelli Piccini managers on the telephone number 055.294768 or at the email address associazioneclienti@fratellipiccini.com to inform the company of the decision to withdraw from the contract and request the return authorization code (Return Code).
    enter the requested information, including the return authorization code (Return Code) on the return form and present in the original box or packaging, and sign it.
    place the return form completed with the item(s), any accessories, the Item User Manual, the Certificate of Authenticity and the International Guarantee (if applicable), as well as all other documents, in the original packaging and in the packaging received.
    Seal the packaging and contact your trusted courier to send the return. The address to appear on the packaging is the following: Fratelli Piccini SpA – Customer Service – Ponte Vecchio, 21/23 r – 50125 – Florence – Italy.
    If the Customer does not have a trusted courier to whom he can entrust the shipment, he can contact Fratelli Piccini Customer Service to obtain the contact details of the Ferrari S.A. courier. who made the delivery.
    The costs of returning the items are always borne by the Customer.
    The Customer (or the Recipient of the Gift) is required to keep proof of shipment of the returned item(s). Fratelli Piccini does not accept any type of responsibility in the absence of the aforementioned proof.
    Once a returned item or items have been received, Fratelli Piccini will proceed to verify that the item/items comply with these Conditions of Sale.
    17.2. Essential conditions for returning an item
    Items purchased via the Fratelli Piccini website or via telephone must be returned in their original condition and must not have been used.
    Personalized items cannot be returned to Fratelli Piccini either due to item exchange or refund request.
    The Customer is also required to return the original Fratelli Piccini packaging and the delivery packaging, including all accessories, the Item’s User Manual, the Certificate of Authenticity and the International Guarantee (if applicable), as well as all other documents, with all protective materials in order and any labels and stickers attached to the items. Otherwise, Fratelli Piccini has the right to withhold the corresponding value from the refund granted to the Customer, or to refuse the return and send the item/s back to the Customer or the Gift Recipient.
    All returned items will be subjected to Fratelli Piccini’s strict Quality Control to ensure that the returned items comply with the above requirements. If the returned item/items satisfy the Quality Control, Fratelli Piccini will make the refund by issuing a credit note relating to the purchase invoice or will replace the item/items, as the case may be.
    17.3. Replacement of one or more items from Customers and Gift Recipients
    Customers and Recipients of Gifts can replace one or more items purchased via the website or by telephone with other items, provided that the item to be replaced satisfies these Conditions of Sale. Where the Customer or the Recipient of a Gift replaces an item with another item via the Fratelli Piccini website, only the Customer will be authorized to receive a refund linked to the price difference, in cases where the item to be replaced is more expensive of the item requested as a replacement. In the event that the returned item is less expensive than the item requested as a replacement, the Customer or Gift Recipient, as the case may be, will have to pay the difference in price.
    In both cases, Fratelli Piccini will be responsible for sending an e-mail to the Customer containing the following information: the value of the returned item, the price of the item with which the original item was replaced and the difference in price that the Customer must pay or the difference in price that the Customer is entitled to receive. In the event that the second case occurs, Fratelli Piccini will also issue a credit note for the excess amount paid.

 

  • MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

    Fratelli Piccini takes extreme care to ensure that each product strictly complies with company quality criteria and that it has passed all tests, both in a functional and aesthetic sense.
    The products chosen are covered by the International Guarantee of Fratelli Piccini or of the company producing the product then marketed by Fratelli Piccini. If the product has a defect that needs to be repaired, the Customer must consult the International Warranty and contact Fratelli Piccini Customer Service for further information.

     

  • LEGAL WARRANTY

    In any case, the buyer holds legal rights according to the national legislation in force governing the sale of consumer goods; these legal rights are in no way affected by these Conditions of Sale.

     

  • REPAIRS

    For any questions relating to jewelery and/or watch repairs, the Customer or the Recipient of a Gift can contact Fratelli Piccini Customer Service by calling 055.294768 or by sending an email to associazioneclienti@fratellipiccini.com.

     

  • ACCURACY of PRICES and DESCRIPTIONS of ITEMS

    Fratelli Piccini does not provide any guarantee, either express or implicit, on the accuracy of the information on the website, making every effort to ensure that such information is precise and up-to-date.

     

  • FINAL PROVISIONS

    Information and complaints: in the event of a complaint, Fratelli Piccini invites the Customer to contact its managers by sending a written communication to the following address: Fratelli Piccini SpA, Customer Service, Ponte Vecchio, 21/23 r, 50125, Florence, Italy. Alternatively, the Customer can contact the Fratelli Piccini managers on the telephone number 055.294768 or at the e-mail address associazioneclienti@fratellipiccini.com.
    Indivisibility of the contract: the Conditions of Sale, including the policies present therein (for example the “Confidentiality Policy”) constitute the entire contract between the Customer and Fratelli Piccini for the purchase of items via telephone or via the website.
