This year’s edition of FPL’s special sabers were engraved by Maestro Filippo on both sodi (top of the handle). The sodi are made of silver and were hand-carved in an artisan workshop in Florence with traditional Florentine motifs. Customizable object with delivery guaranteed in 2 months. The horses’ logo can be changed free of charge with initials or other (Delivery guaranteed in one month).
The handles are made with Giant Fossil Shell and also available in Tiger’s Eye. They are always executed in Florence by Master Craftsmen of Florentine Mosaic. Florence has a very long tradition in semi-precious stone objects and mosaics, dating back beyond the more famous Medici Grand Ducal period.
The blade comes from the famous city of knives near Florence from Saladini, who was also a technical consultant on the project. Unlike other champagne sabers, this one is razor sharp giving the possibility of using it to cut some food after toasts.
The saber has its own mahogany and leather display base. The base a system of with magnets hidden by a leather insert by Master Fabio of downtown Florence.
The slipcase box is made of mahogany and can be personalized by Master Guerrando with dedications or coats of arms.
