The Jewelry
shop Fratelli Piccini,
founded by Pirro Piccini
in 1903, has achieved international fame
thanks to Armando Piccini,
whose artistic talents were realized in
the creation of the shop's fine jewels and
precious stones. Armando's original designs
and careful attention to the cutting process
have put this once small, family business
in the international limelight. Fratelli
Piccini won The International Diamond Award
in 1958, and important clients continue
to come from around the world to obtain
these fine jewels.
Today the shop is directed by Armando's
niece, Laura Piccini, and
her daughter, Elisa Tozzi,
who received a degree in gemology from G.I.A.
in Los Angeles. Jewelers in the real sense
of the word, the Piccini's address thenselves
to a sophisticated clientele, working closely
with each client to maintain the trust and
confidence found in the great traditions
of Florence's local goldsmiths--today as
in 1903.
